If you create an account and login with one of our sign in partners, we do store certain limited PII, which is essential to providing you with these advanced services and to be able to authenticate you.
FERPA & COPPA Compliance for Schools
Establishing whether our services are FERPA and COPPA compliant is the responsibility of the user, however there are some important points to bear in mind:
Our services are COPPA and FERPA compliant if the user does not create an account, as no PII is stored, or shared.
Users under the age of 13, may not create an account for Zip Captions. If you are aware of a user who has create an account and is aged under 13, please contact us at apps@zipcaptions.app.
Users who create an account will have certain PII stored.
