# Microphone Goes to Sleep

**ISSUE:**&#x20;

The microphone will sleep when the active tab is moved away from

**SOLUTION:**&#x20;

Instead of running the app in an active tab, install the Progressive Web App (PWA) version of ZipCaptions.

To install the PWA you need to:

1. Click on the menu in your web browser

1. Click on **Install Zip Captions**
